Goodbye April, You Sucked Balls

It’s only a day or two till the end of April and there’s only one thing to say about that, Thank god! April SUCKED BALLS.

And not in the good way.

How was your April?

As with every month I try to move into it like a new beginning. Making new plans, new directions, new ideas, and always pledging to work harder and get more done… (okay that last one almost never comes to pass, but anyway…)

In the last days of march, however, it seemed as though my life was taking a turn for the better. Without getting into particulars, it seemed I’d finally get a chance of something to happen that I’d wanted for years and years and years. (and that would lead to other things and so on and so forth…)

But, alas, as the calendar turned over to April. It didn’t come to pass.

And that somewhat destroyed me.

And the rest of April, I’ve just been trying to get over it. Accept that it’s never going to happen, and all my hopes were just fools dreams because it probably wasn’t going to happen in the first place.

If you know what I’m saying in my ambiguous way.

Now, I’m just hoping things can go back to the way they were. And I can stop feeling like crap.

So here’s to May – May you be much better than April.

Oh, and my computer is starting tho die of old age. It’s about four years old now and I’m thinking of switching over to my laptop permanently and being rid of the desktop altogether.

On the silver lining sign of shit I can think of one or two things that happened in April that I can be happy about.

Ummm….

Er…

Oh okay, here’s one – I got new glasses. Yes. And I turned my old ones into prescription sunglasses, which is pretty good. After a few adjustments they both fit my weird misshapen head pretty well.

Oh, and speaking of new things – I got this awesome new watch. It’s a binary watch. It took a little getting used to. The little lights light up and tell you what time it is. Which is what you want a watch to do.

So that was my April. Disappointment, rejection and a few purchases.

Bring on May and it better be good or else I’m going to kick someone in the shin. Not sure who to kick, but I’m sure I’ll find someone. There’s plenty of jerky customers where I work, I’m sure one of them would be a viable candidate.

Welcome to Jeremy Boland Dot Com.

This is my brain.

Don't be afraid. Everything will be just fine.

Just sit back and enjoy the journey into the seriously mundane and trivially obscure regions of my conciousness for all the penguin references you can handle
