Hey, how ya doin?

I’m doing Awe… wait for it… some.

I am doing awesome because of a recent purchase which arrived just yesterday. It’s a little Toshiba Mini Notebook, an Nb205… Just to get technical on ya.

Aint she pretty? I shall call her Abigail.

She arrived in the mail just yesterday afternoon, a mere half an hour before I had to go out and due to a late (and long) bus ride I only arrived back home with an hour before I had to leave for work.

I had to wait so long to play with my new toy.

But Abigail has been worth the wait. I’ve just finished installing and setting up all the programs that I know and love and now I’m getting a chance to just click and play and type.

She has some pretty decent hardware, almost on par with my larger notebook I bought just two years ago but the biggest selling point for me was the nine hour battery. On high power saving mode, the battery is supposed to last nine hours! Now that is awe… wait for it… some.

Now, I’m off to do some writing… either that or some procrastinating.

either way – I need a coffee.

This is what Todd, My Brain, told me when I was staring at Laptops at the store today.

Todd’s a dick most of the time… but he had a good point.

So I bought a Laptop today.

It’s a Toshiba with dual core something and 160gb of something else and 1 gb of…It’s real pretty.

I like it alot… even if my writing anywhere has so far included sitting on the couch and installing stuff and not much else.

anyway… more update later cause it’s almost 2 in the morning and I have to be up for work at 4.

Damn work.

Oh, also I had a dream this morning in which I kept my wallet in a dead possum… What do you think that mean?

At Two o’clock this morning I came within a pidgeons fart of buying a sexy new Laptop.

One more click of the mouse and I would’ve bought it.

The truth is though, at the present moment, I really don’t need one. Not right now at least, Maybe in the future when my book gets published and becomes a number one bestseller and I have to travel a lot doing book tours. But I don’t need one right now, I just really, really, really, really want one.

I’ve decided, just for now, to put it off. I have decided to make it a reward for myself for finishing my novel… So it may be a while before I get one.

I figured this is a good idea and have also extended it to buying anything. – I tend to buy a lot of crap -

So now I need to hurry up and finish my novel. At this stage I’m not sure which it will be either Blue Flowers (the novel formerly known as The Transient) or Mal Macabre…

I saw this the other night. It has got to be the funniest and most random punching people in the face sketches out there.

In other news today – Super Mario is giving me the shits.

In other other news today – I Like Penguins… Except for Thomas. He’s Evil. He knows Judo and he’s not afraid of abusing it.
